Fresh from a spellbinding run at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, this shadowy tale features a young drifter crippled by a shocking encounter on the dark and expansive Colorado plains. Brothers brawl, romances tangle, and the other-worldly has an axe to grind in this haunting, modern day ghost story.

Ben Newman is an actor, director and teacher. A recent Portland transplant he was seen in Profile Theatre’s Blood Knot. His acting credits include work in New York at Classic Stage Company, Columbia Stages, Riverside Shakespeare Festival and the NY Fringe; regionally at Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Denver Center Theatre and Kansas City Actors Theatre. Ben has taught and directed in Israel, the University of Northern Colorado, Denver Center Theatre Company and Northwest Children’s Theatre in Portland.

“quietly gripping…lucid and disorientating…the sheer passion of Newman’s delivery makes its mysterious theme unforgettable.” The List, 2013

“utterly spellbound…intense stripped-back storytelling…grungy realism and sympathetic characterization…creepy, intense and truly gripping –
a modern-day ghost story which sent literal shivers down my spine.” Broadway Baby, 2013
